Chrome remover - Chrome stripper from Betzmann Galvanik :   Our chrome remover effortlessly removes any layer of chrome, regardless of its thickness, and also cleans the surface. Please note: The chrome remover only works with alternating polarity. Handle minus and crocodile clip PLUS. The chrome dissolves yellow and therefore also serves as a test to determine whether the material is actually chrome-plated. The chrome remover does not attack paints and varnishes.   You can remove any chrome quickly and safely with our chrome remover. But what is chrome removal for? It's simple: chrome-plated components are usually coated with an oxide layer and therefore cannot be electroplated.  therefore cannot be electroplated. The gloss of the surface is not affected.    You can use the Betzmann electroplating dechromer to Dechrome lettering Dechroming fittings Dechroming rims Dechroming exhaust pipes General chrome removal from chrome-plated components The use of our chrome remover applies to immersion electroplating and pin electroplating / manual electroplating.    Connect the object from which you want to remove the chrome to the positive pole (red) of the power supply unit using a clamp.  Then connect the pin to the negative pole (black). Set a voltage of 6 volts or more and use the pad to pick up the chrome remover.  pick up the chrome remover. Graphite round rod - Graphite rod anode - Graphite electrode for gold plating.  Graphite electrodes are ultimate for all coatings. The advantage is that in some coatings with stainless steel electrodes, the dislodged metal parts disturb the coating. This does not happen with graphite electrodes, because graphite also filters out contaminated liquids. Anode pad / tampon / anode sleeve / fuzzy sleeve / replacement fabric pad puffy from Betzmann Galvanik.    This puffy fabric pad / anode sleeve or also called tampon is absolutely recommended for all plating processes. Optimally suitable for all coatings and electrolytes.  The coating of larger areas is also quite fast with this pad.   The insertion hole is larger than the electrode and therefore it happens that the moist  anode pad slips off. Therefore, fix the pad on the electrode with a small rubber band.    

Stainless Steel Electrode 6mm:   This electrode is ideal for chrome stripping and electro-cleaning. To swap over to a stainless steel electrode, simply loosen the existing electrode and fit in the new one.  Stainless steel electrodes should not be used for any other processes such as the metal can cause contamination  of the plating solution resulting in considerable wastage of gold metal.    Selecting the best electrode for the job is very important.

Adhering grease residues or fingerprints can quickly lead to unsightly results.  With the help of the extraordinary formula of the degreaser you can quickly and easily remove greasy dirt such as lubricants, Remove oil or silicone residues. Briefly brushing or dipping your work piece into the degreasing agent will optimal preparation for the subsequent coating.
