PRODUCT PRESENTATION - GOLD ELECTRTOLYT 999 FINE GOLD - 23,8 CARAT  WITH 8 GRAMS OF GOLD PER LITER   Do-it-yourself gold plating has never been so easy. Our gold electrolyte from Betzmann Galvanik may be purchased by anyone. Whether it is for use in highly professional laboratories, industry, luxury companies, to the use in the hobby, main or secondary trade, companies, schools, universities, TH , IHK or other authorities. With this extremely fast and very hard depositing gold electrolyte from Betzmann Galvanik, you can usually coat the following metals directly: Stainless steel of all kinds, surgical steel, copper, silver, brass, nickel, iron, steel,   The pink color of the electrolyte is the hardness additive cobalt. This gives the otherwise much too soft gold an abrasion resistant surface. This is not toxic in the admixed composition.  The gold electrolyte from Betzmann Galvanik is anti-allergenic, was extracted from crisis- and conflict-free gold and is food-safe.  Our Betzmann Galvanik Gold Electrolyte has a very fast deposition and further achieves a very hard gold layer. It has a very good covering effect and is therefore one of the best products on the market worldwide. A special preservative causes a very long shelf life of at least 2 years and prevents sedimentation, as it occurs with many other gold electrolytes. The gold electrolyte from Betzmann Galvanik is used worldwide, e.g. for the gold plating of boat parts made of brass that are exposed to salt water, medical technology, measurement technology, for optical gold plating, for technical gold plating, gold plating of drive shafts, musical instruments and their parts, both inside and outside, body jewelry, intimate protection, dental jewelry, dental technology, drills of all kinds, shisa, e-cigarettes so-called. Vaporizers, vehicle parts, engine parts, motorcycle parts, airplane interiors, exhaust systems and manifolds, as gold is very heat resistant, sporting goods, diving equipment, keys and pendants, jewelry, chains and rings of all kinds, piston rods, pipes, table feet, bathroom fixtures and many more. Partial coatings are possible by masking and masking surrounding areas. To avoid material loss when coating sloping surfaces, we recommend our thickener/gel former. With this you can thicken all electrolytes also chrome remover, cleaner etc..   Also you can use with this gold mostly in the ratio 1:10 our mixer products like rose gold, white gold and green gold! Optimal results are achieved with the platinum electrode 6mm - 10cm length or the flat platinum electrode, because platinum electrodes can build up very thick layers far over 10 microns and more. Graphite electrodes can also be used.  Gold content: 8 grams per liter    The procedure for gilding: Recommended to first polish the surface to a shine - the nicer the surface, the nicer the shine will be Thorough degreasing with the electrocleaner Activate the surface with the activator Gilding with platinum electrode starting around 5 volts     Voltage Range 3.0 – 8 volts Temperature 14 – 25 °C Gold Concentration 8 g/l Electrode Platinum or Carbon (see notes) Gold content in plate 99.9% (balance carbon) Plating Rate at (3.5 volts, Platinum electrode) Approx. 0.7 micron per minute (spot) Hardness 220 – 230 Hv Density of deposit 19.0 g/cm3 Stress Medium stress Special storage requirements Away from sunlight Shelf life 1 – 2 years     Signalword: Warning H-phrases:H332 Harmful by inhalation.H312 Harmful in contact with skin.H302 Harmful if swallowed.EUH032 Contact with acids liberates very toxic gas.P phrases:P280 Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.P301 IF INSPECTED:P310 Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.

Gold Flash - Goldflash
Product information "Gold Flash" from Betzmann Galvanik   Gold Flash with 2 grams of gold per liter - wonderfully suitable as an intermediate layer or decorative layer.    The Gold Flash from Betzmann Galvanik has 2 main areas of application:   1. optical-decorative layer: Gold is soft and needs the addition of cobalt as a hard abrasion resistant top layer, which is not included in this product. Therefore, the gold layer from Goldflash appears somewhat lighter yellow. Parts that are not subject to any stress, such as souvenirs, horseshoes for decoration, etc., can be easily, directly and inexpensively gold-plated with the Goldflash.   Tip: You can first gild parts very intensively and thickly with the Goldflash and then coat them briefly with the 8 or 12 gram cobalt-displaced hard gold!   2. bonding primer for the following coatings: Many applications require thin layers of gold before actual plating. Until now, this was only possible with the use of 24 carat gold and was therefore quite costly. cost-intensive. This is now a thing of the past.  With the Goldflash from Betzmann Galvanik, you can now apply the desired gold layer.   As an example, direct silver plating of nickel is usually not feasible, so you can first gold plate with the Goldflash, then silver plate. Likewise, when using black chrome, rose gold plating, green gold plating, the gold flash serves as an optimal bonding base when copper or nickel cannot be applied directly! Also, gilding nickel, which naturally oxidizes, is very easy and spotless. Then chrome plating on Goldflash can be done even easier and without problems.   Despite gold plating, the material input is far below 10 cents per cm2 of surface!   Recommended electrode: platinum electrode, graphite electrode Voltage: from approx. 4 volts    Procedure: Polishing if necessary Degreasing Activate Goldflash Continue with the top layer chrome, white gold, rose gold, green gold   Feature Used for Allows electroplating of a thin layer of strongly adherent gold. Before applying another layer of plating, for example when silver or palladium plating on stainless steel, nickel and its alloys. 24 carat thin coats of gold: electronics, optics – reflectors – and where the item is going to be protected with a clear lacquer layer.   Operating Conditions and Deposit Data Voltage Range 4.0 – 6.0 volts Temperature 14 – 25 °C Gold Concentration 2g/l Electrode Platinum or Carbon (see notes) Gold content in plate 99.9% (balance carbon) Plating Rate at (5.0 volts, Platinum electrode) Approx. 0.12 micron per minute (spot) Hardness 180 – 190 Hv Density of deposit 19.0 g/cm3 Stress Low – medium stress Special storage requirements Away from sunlight Shelf life Over 3 years Notes: We strongly advise against the use of stainless steel anodes for most of our plating processes Plating rates are calculated over a sample area which is permanently covered by swab.    Features Used for Designed mainly as a base solution for mixing with our Coloured Gold Mixers Mixing with Yellow, White, Rose, and Green Gold Mixers and Brass Effect Gold Mixer. Can be mixed with 2 or more Gold Mixers Creating a huge spectrum of different shades and tints of gold – good for exactly matching colour of original gold plated layer Can be plated on its own, forming a soft, 24 carat gold layer, completely cyanide free Mainly functional purposes only. Needs a Gold Flash undercoat if plating on to stainless steel       Signalword : Warning    H-phrases: H332 Harmful by inhalation. H312 Harmful in contact with skin. H302 Harmful if swallowed. Carbon Electrode 6mm
Graphite round rod - Graphite rod anode - Graphite electrode for gold plating.  Graphite electrodes are ultimate for all coatings. The advantage is that in some coatings with stainless steel electrodes, the dislodged metal parts disturb the coating. This does not happen with graphite electrodes, because graphite also filters out contaminated liquids. With bath electroplating, they also need to be replaced occasionally as they slowly dissolve during the plating process.   With pad electroplating, simply loosen the screw on the handle and replace with a new one.   Diameter 6 mm, length approx. 9 cm    Features Used for Doesn’t contaminate Cleaner Activating and electro-cleaning  Its resistive properties help to heat the solution you’re plating with Chromium plating, which needs to be plated at 25 degrees celsius; its natural heating action helps to maintain the solution’s optimal temperature Low cost Can be used for all plating processes but carbon electrodes deteriorate over a period of time and discolour swabs (discolouration does not affect the plating quality)
