Anode sleeve fuzzy
Anode pad / tampon / anode sleeve / fuzzy sleeve / replacement fabric pad puffy from Betzmann Galvanik.    This puffy fabric pad / anode sleeve or also called tampon is absolutely recommended for all plating processes. Optimally suitable for all coatings and electrolytes.  The coating of larger areas is also quite fast with this pad.   The insertion hole is larger than the electrode and therefore it happens that the moist  anode pad slips off. Therefore, fix the pad on the electrode with a small rubber band.

Carbon Electrode 6mm
Graphite round rod - Graphite rod anode - Graphite electrode for gold plating.  Graphite electrodes are ultimate for all coatings. The advantage is that in some coatings with stainless steel electrodes, the dislodged metal parts disturb the coating. This does not happen with graphite electrodes, because graphite also filters out contaminated liquids. With bath electroplating, they also need to be replaced occasionally as they slowly dissolve during the plating process.   With pad electroplating, simply loosen the screw on the handle and replace with a new one.   Diameter 6 mm, length approx. 9 cm    Features Used for Doesn’t contaminate Cleaner Activating and electro-cleaning  Its resistive properties help to heat the solution you’re plating with Chromium plating, which needs to be plated at 25 degrees celsius; its natural heating action helps to maintain the solution’s optimal temperature Low cost Can be used for all plating processes but carbon electrodes deteriorate over a period of time and discolour swabs (discolouration does not affect the plating quality)

Platinum Electrode
Platinum electrode from Betzmann-Galvanik:   We know that when plating with gold or silver, you want to achieve only the best results and this is achieved by using our platinum electrode (platinized titanium). This will more than meet your requirements. It hardly wears out and leaves no black spots or stains when plating. For top quality gold plating, we recommend the use of this electrode.   Care should be taken to clean the electrode carefully after each use!     Properties "Platinum Electrode 6 mm Platinum electrode (platinized titanium with a platinum layer of 2.5 µm platinum) Ø 6 mm x 100 mm Standard electrode for experiments in electrochemistry (electroplating, electrolysis, ion migration, determination of electrochemical potentials, etc.) Spare platinum electrode for Hofmann decomposition apparatus, electrolyzer Platinum-coated titanium anodes are among the classic anode materials for electroplating because they combine the excellent electrochemical properties of platinum with the good corrosion properties of titanium. They are characterized by a long service life at high current density and are versatile in use. They are equally suitable for platinum and ruthenium baths, for hard chrome plating, as bright rhodium baths and for cathodic corrosion protection. The standard platinum layer thickness is 2.5 μm.   In order to achieve the best results when plating with gold (adhesive gold bath, bright gold plating bath) or silver, they are indispensable.   This platinum electrode will more than meet your requirements, it hardly wears out and leaves no black spots or stains when plating. For top quality gold plating, I recommend using this electrode.   Other possible applications: Water electrolysis/separation of hydrogen and oxygen, water disinfection, production of chlorates (chlorate synthesis) and perchlorates.   Recommended operating data:   Operating voltage from 3 volts distance anode/workpiece surface 5 cm anodic current intensity (specific current density) max. 75 A/dm² (7.5 mA/mm² = 750 mA/cm²), i.e. a multiple of the values typical in electroplating (0.5 ... 5 A/dm²) pH value: 0 - 11 Bath temperature max. 60 °C

Rosegold Solution 18 Karat
Rosegold Solution from Betzmann Galvanik This Rose Gold Brush/Pen Plating Solution (18 Karat) doesn’t have to be mixed beforehand. It can be used for both brush and pen plating. You can use either the Platinum Electrode (2.5 – 3.0 volts) or the Carbon Electrode (2.0 – 2.5 volts) with this solution. One of the outstanding qualities of the solution is that it plates very fast compared to other brush plating solutions. You can compare the plating rates using our online brush plating calculator on the links bar above.   Failure to observe the above precautions will result in the degeneration of the gold component in the solution. This will cause copper-rich plating, which will tarnish quickly.   Please see below for more products related to Rose Gold Brush/Pen Plating Solution (18 Karat). Recommended electrode: Carbon, Voltage: 3 – 3.5     Gold Concentration 9.1g/l Voltage Range (Platinum Electrode) 2.5 – 3.0 volts* Voltage Range (Carbon Electrode) 2.0 – 2.5 volts* Electrode Carbon Alloy consistency (at mix ratio 1Mixer:10 K-Gold) 75% Gold, 25% Copper Colour designation 5N Temperature 20 – 25 °C Plating Rate at (3.3 volts, carbon electrode) Approx. 0.5 microns per minute (max) Hardness Hard: In excess of 250 – 300 Hv Density of deposit 14.4 g/cm3 Stress Medium Special storage requirements Away from sunlight Shelf life 1-2 years (please refer to notes below) Health and Safety classification Irritant Special considerations None (cyanide-free) Transport (UN number) None: Not classified as dangerous for transport * The lower voltage range should be applied when using smaller swabs. Notes: Remove any existing layers of rose gold before plating. Store in hermetically sealed container with lid firmly closed. Small volumes for day-day use should be stored in a stoppered syringe. Higher voltages can be used with plating rates in excess of 3 micronsper minute (spot).A lower voltage range is recommended when plating above 1 micron to preventdullness and subsequent polishing.

Rosegold Mixer
Rosegold Mixer - Betzmann Galvanoshop: Simply add Rose Gold Mixer to K-Gold to plate fabulously warm, lustrous tones of rose gold. All you need to do is mix the two together to create just the right amount of solution you need. We recommend you buy the mixing kit to make sure you measure out the correct ratios.A 1:10 mix will give you a darker shade of rose gold commonly used for eastern European jewellery, while a mix of 2:10 gives a mix not too dissimilar to highly polished pure copper, however this one does not tarnish. If plating on to stainless steel, nickel or its alloys, first plate a layer of 24 carat gold or Goldflash to give a good, solid base on which to plate your Rose Gold layer.   Features Used for Rose gold plate is very hard compared to pure gold. Great for plating items subject to a high-wear environment (jewellery). Plates fast. Reduces plating time. When mixed with K-Gold, creates the classic warm tones of rose gold. Selective plating of a range of personal items for example jewellery and watch cases and straps. Can be used on larger items such as silverware and picture frames. Redder deposits can be obtained by increasing the volume of mixer. Greater flexibility in colour matching. Consistency of alloy throughout process sequence. Very useful especially when plating large work or plating to higher thickness: the shade of gold plated doesn’t change.   Instructions for use Carbon Electrode3 – 3.5 volts20 – 25 centigrade Ratio of Rosegold Mixer to K-Gold Shade Produced   Remarks 1:10 Yellow-red shade   18 carat alloy (75% gold, 25% copper). Plates fast (up to 1.5 microns per minute). Bright, hard gloss finish. 1.5:10 (see note below) Becomes redder   15 carat gold alloy (62.5% gold, 37.5% copper) Plates bright and fast. 2:10 (see note below) Red gold   12 carat alloy – (50% gold, 50% copper). If wanting to plate over 0.25 microns, plate until it goes dull, polish with MPU and then plate again. 4:10 (see note below) Red gold   Below 10 carat alloy. Tarnishes readilly and not recommended for decorative purposes.
