Black Chrome - Smoky Chrome

Anode pad / tampon / anode sleeve / fuzzy sleeve / replacement fabric pad puffy from Betzmann Galvanik.    This puffy fabric pad / anode sleeve or also called tampon is absolutely recommended for all plating processes. Optimally suitable for all coatings and electrolytes.  The coating of larger areas is also quite fast with this pad.   The insertion hole is larger than the electrode and therefore it happens that the moist  anode pad slips off. Therefore, fix the pad on the electrode with a small rubber band.    

Graphite round rod - Graphite rod anode - Graphite electrode for gold plating.  Graphite electrodes are ultimate for all coatings. The advantage is that in some coatings with stainless steel electrodes, the dislodged metal parts disturb the coating. This does not happen with graphite electrodes, because graphite also filters out contaminated liquids. Platinum electrode from Betzmann-Galvanik:   We know that when plating with gold or silver, you want to achieve only the best results and this is achieved by using our platinum electrode (platinized titanium). This will more than meet your requirements. It hardly wears out and leaves no black spots or stains when plating. They are equally suitable for platinum and ruthenium baths, for hard chrome plating, as bright rhodium baths and for cathodic corrosion protection. The standard platinum layer thickness is 2.5 μm.   In order to achieve the best results when plating with gold (adhesive gold bath, bright gold plating bath) or silver, they are indispensable.   This platinum electrode will more than meet your requirements, it hardly wears out and leaves no black spots or stains when plating. For top quality gold plating, I recommend using this electrode.   Other possible applications: Water electrolysis/separation of hydrogen and oxygen, water disinfection, production of chlorates (chlorate synthesis) and perchlorates.   Recommended operating data:   Operating voltage from 3 volts distance anode/workpiece surface 5 cm anodic current intensity (specific current density) max. 75 A/dm² (7.5 mA/mm² = 750 mA/cm²), i.e. a multiple of the values typical in electroplating (0.5 ... 5 A/dm²) pH value: 0 - 11 Bath temperature max. 60 °C    

Gold Flash - Goldflash Solution from Betzmann Galvanik   Gold Flash with 2 grams of gold per liter - wonderfully suitable as an intermediate layer or decorative layer.    The Gold Flash from Betzmann Galvanik has 2 main areas of application:   1. optical-decorative layer: Gold is soft and needs the addition of cobalt as a hard abrasion resistant top layer, which is not included in this product. Therefore, the gold layer from Goldflash appears somewhat lighter yellow. Parts that are not subject to any stress, such as souvenirs, horseshoes for decoration, etc., can be easily, directly and inexpensively gold-plated with the Goldflash.   Tip: You can first gild parts very intensively and thickly with the Goldflash and then coat them briefly with the 8 or 12 gram cobalt-displaced hard gold!   2. bonding primer for the following coatings: Many applications require thin layers of gold before actual plating. Until now, this was only possible with the use of 24 carat gold and was therefore quite costly. cost-intensive. This is now a thing of the past.  With the Goldflash from Betzmann Galvanik, you can now apply the desired gold layer.   As an example, direct silver plating of nickel is usually not feasible, so you can first gold plate with the Goldflash, then silver plate. Likewise, when using black chrome, rose gold plating, green gold plating, the gold flash serves as an optimal bonding base when copper or nickel cannot be applied directly! Also, gilding nickel, which naturally oxidizes, is very easy and spotless.
