Chrome remover - Chrome stripper from Betzmann Galvanik :
Our chrome remover effortlessly removes any layer of chrome, regardless of its thickness, and also cleans the surface.
Please note: The chrome remover only works with alternating polarity. Handle minus and crocodile clip PLUS.
The chrome dissolves yellow and therefore also serves as a test to determine whether the material is actually chrome-plated. The chrome remover does not attack paints and varnishes.
You can remove any chrome quickly and safely with our chrome remover.
But what is chrome removal for? It's simple: chrome-plated components are usually coated with an oxide layer and therefore cannot be electroplated.

General chrome removal from chrome-plated components
The use of our chrome remover applies to immersion electroplating and pin electroplating / manual electroplating.
Connect the object from which you want to remove the chrome to the positive pole (red) of the power supply unit using a clamp.
Then connect the pin to the negative pole (black). Set a voltage of 6 volts or more and use the pad to pick up the chrome remover.

The chrome will turn yellowish.
