Steel, iron and zinc should first receive an alkaline copper strike before applying the bright acid copper layer.
Not suitable for direct plating on:
Aluminium
Titanium
Chromium
Tin
Zinc
These materials require appropriate pretreatment.
Application
For optimum adhesion, all workpieces should be thoroughly cleaned, degreased and, where required, activated before plating.
The use of a Copper Anode is recommended to maintain a constant copper concentration and maximise electrolyte life.
